My NEW show is called "Queen of the Night" - A Tribute to Whitney Houston starring myself, but it will also feature some of the most talented individuals in the Las Vegas area.  I'm talking a steller cast Honey!  On Lead Guitar (Nate Wingfield); on Bass (Walter Jones); on Keyboards (Niles McKinney); on Drums (Michael Angelo); on Vocals (Cheryl "Lyrehc" Jordan) and (Rachel Leslie); my fantastic choreographer (Adolfo Barretto); and my fierce dancers.  All my friends are gonna help me celebrate the Life, the Music and the Soultry Voice of the beautiful Whitney Houston.

I Love You, Whitney Houston...

Posted on February 15, 2012 with 0 comments
I don't even know where to begin because my heart has been broken to pieces. The woman who I considered to be my all time idol, inspiration and one of the reasons I sing today is gone. I love Whitney Houston dearly. She has taught me so much as a vocalist and there will never be another diva like her. It hurts so bad to lose her, I cant believe that I will never hear that great anointed voice again. Ironically, next week I am scheduled to do a tribute to Whitney at the celebrity impersonator convention in las Vegas, woo sah, it's gonna be rough getting through that performance. I love you with my heart and soul Whitney, and thank you for your wonderful gift, RIP baby girl....

Last week was so fantastic for me as a Performing Artist.  So many cool things happened during the week. First, on Wednesday I performed with my band "The Family Stone" at the beautiful Anthology Jazz Club in San Diego and we rocked the house.  Then the band peformed in the Old School Funk Party Concert featuring WAR and The Family Stone at the San Manuel Casino in Highland, CA.  Man, there were so many hits between the two bands, we had the crowd dancing all night long.
Now on Friday and Saturday, as if I didn't have enough fun, I went to the NAMM convention in Anaheim CA to hang with all my peers.  Wow, this years NAMM was so much fun!  I got to meet Stevie Wonder and watch him perform up close and personal along with other great celebrities.  There were so many live performances and parties to attend it would make your head spin honey!  But I think I managed just fine, LOL!  As an Artist, I also managed to get hooked up with a few [...]
